Ohio requires you to complete the course within 90 days of enrollment.

The good news? Most students finish in just a few days!

Absolutely! The course works on smartphones, tablets, laptops, and desktop computers, so you can learn wherever it’s most convenient.

  • Course length: The course is designed to provide 4 hours of instruction. Everyone learns at a different pace, so you may finish in about 4 hours, or it may take a little longer depending on how quickly you read and complete the activities.
  • Identity verification: You’ll upload a photo of your government-issued ID during registration. Identity verification is required by the Ohio DPS, and your information is protected with secure SSL encryption.
  • Required breaks: The state also requires a 10-minute break at certain points during the course to help you stay focused and get the most from your training. If you like, you’ll be able to log back in and keep going once the required break is done.
